🐻 Yeti Fruit — Is It Worth Getting?
Yeti is a Mythical Beast-type fruit with an ice/snow transformation theme. Its standout mechanic is the Freeze status — moves can freeze opponents in place, setting up devastating combo extensions. The transformation also provides a meaningful HP boost and natural damage reduction, making Yeti solid in both PvP and PvE grinding scenarios.
Verdict: B+ tier in PvP, A tier for mid-game grinding. Not at the level of Dragon or Tiger, but a fun and viable option. Trade value has stabilized after initial hype — check our Trade Value Calculator for current pricing.
❄️ Blizzard Fruit — Budget Elemental
Blizzard is a Legendary Elemental-type fruit with Logia immunity — meaning regular (non-Haki-enhanced) attacks pass through you while transformed. This passive defense makes it safer for newer players still learning to fight without taking unnecessary hits.
Verdict: C+ tier in PvP (Logia immunity helps but damage output is average), B tier for early Third Sea grinding. Best seen as a budget stepping stone while saving for stronger fruits like Dragon or Leopard.

🍎 New Fruits from Update 21 & 22 — Complete Analysis
Yeti (Update 21 — Mythical)
MythicalYeti's Freeze mechanic is its defining characteristic. Moves like Avalanche and Blizzard Breath can reliably freeze enemies, creating guaranteed follow-up combos. In PvP, this makes Yeti unpredictable and effective at punishing aggressive players who rush in. The transformation form provides good base damage and a large enough hitbox for consistent crowd control in group PvE scenarios. The main weakness is the fruit's relatively high cost — it's Mythical rarity — and the freeze mechanic becoming less effective against skilled players who learn to anticipate and dodge the freeze moves. No awakening is currently available, which limits its long-term PvP ceiling compared to awakened fruits like Dough or Dragon.
Mammoth (Update 22 — Legendary)
LegendaryMammoth is a tanky Beast-type fruit with large AoE stomp attacks that excel at clearing groups of enemies. The transformation significantly boosts HP, making it one of the more survivable fruits in the game. For PvE grinding, Mammoth's large hitboxes and reliable damage make it effective at mid-to-late Third Sea locations. In PvP, the large hitbox is a double-edged sword — easy to hit others, but also very easy to be hit. Against skilled opponents, the slow movement speed in transformation is exploitable. Best used by players who enjoy tanky playstyles but don't want to pay the high price of Buddha. Mammoth is significantly cheaper than Mythical fruits while providing a similar "big and tanky" gameplay feel.
⚖️ How Updates 21 & 22 Changed the Meta
PvP Meta — Mostly Unchanged
Despite two updates, the top PvP meta remains largely stable. Tiger, Dough Awakened, Dragon, and Gas still occupy the S-tier. The balance adjustments to Tiger and Gas were subtle enough not to dethrone them. New fruits Yeti and Mammoth added viable options but haven't disrupted the top picks. If you're focused on competitive PvP, your existing build is still valid — no forced meta shift happened.
Grinding Meta — Slight Shakeup
Buddha remains the undisputed grinding king, but Yeti and Mammoth add new viable grinding options for players who can't afford Buddha. The expanded Floating Turtle area from Update 21 is particularly good for players at levels 2000-2200, providing denser spawn points and better quest variety than before.
Trading Market — Yeti Hype Settled
Yeti launched with high hype pricing (typical for new Mythical fruits) but has since settled to a stable value. If you bought Yeti at peak hype price, the value may have dipped slightly — this is normal for new fruit releases. Long-term, Yeti should hold reasonable value due to its Mythical rarity, but don't expect it to rival Dragon or Kitsune in trade demand.
Fighting Styles — Update 22 Reworks Matter
The Electric Claw and Death Step hitbox adjustments in Update 22 have real PvP implications. Electric Claw's grab move (which chains into Dough combos) was slightly adjusted — Dough + Electric Claw combos still work, but the timing window is marginally tighter. If you use this combo, practice the updated timing in private servers before going into bounty hunting.
