🔍 Leaks, Hints & Predictions
Each item below is clearly rated by how solid the evidence is. Read the source for full context.
Fruit Fusion System — Confirmed
High📌 Source: Developer confirmation, July 2026
The Fruit Fusion System has been officially confirmed by developers. Players will be able to combine two fruits into a hybrid with abilities from both — such as Dough + Ice. Fruits used are consumed, making hybrids extremely rare. This will massively shake up the PvP meta and trading values once released.
Celestial & Oni Fruits — Confirmed in Development
High📌 Source: Developer statement, July 2026
Both the Celestial (divine/angelic) and Oni (demon) Mythical fruits are now officially confirmed in active development. No release date given, but expected before end of 2026. Their introduction will likely come with new lore-based boss encounters.
Dark Fruit Rework
High📌 Source: Developer Trello comment (March 2026)
Developer Mygame43 posted on the public Blox Fruits Trello board noting that 'certain older fruits deserve a fresh kit.' Dark Fruit consistently tops community polls for rework requests — it is widely considered underpowered relative to other Mythical fruits at its price point. Community expectation is a complete moveset overhaul similar to what Leopard received in Update 28 (becoming Tiger). If Dark gets a proper rework, expect its trading value to rise significantly.
Expanded World Event System
High📌 Source: In-game Codex text + developer stream comments
Update 29 introduced the Corrupted Anomaly World Event — a dynamic boss encounter that spawned on a public timer. Both the developers and the community received this extremely positively. Developers hinted during their community stream that they want this to be a permanent rotational system across all three seas, with different bosses appearing on different schedules. This would essentially create ongoing replayable content between major updates.
4th Sea — Officially Confirmed for December 2026
High📌 Source: Developer roadmap announcement, 2026
The 4th Sea has been officially confirmed by the Blox Fruits development team for a December 2026 release. The level cap is expected to rise significantly — community estimates range from 3,500 to 4,000. New islands, bosses, and content types are expected. This is no longer speculation: start prepping your build, grinding Fragments, and securing key items before the release spike.
Celestial & Oni Fruits — Confirmed in Development
High📌 Source: Developer statements, July 2026
Both the Celestial (angelic/divine) and Oni (demon) Mythical fruits are confirmed by developers as actively in development. No release date given, but both are expected before end of 2026, likely tied to 4th Sea lore. Their introduction will probably come via new boss encounters rather than the standard Blox Fruit Dealer.
Level Cap Raise (3000 → 3500)
Low📌 Source: Community speculation only
If the 4th Sea launches, a level cap increase would logically follow to provide progression goals in the new content. Community speculation ranges from 3,000 to 3,500 as the new cap. However, this has zero backing from any developer statement or datamine. It's a reasonable prediction based on game logic, but treat it as speculation only. If this happens, it would significantly affect end-game grinding meta.
PvP Ranking / Leaderboard System
Low📌 Source: Developer acknowledgement (community call, 2025)
During a community Q&A in late 2025, developers acknowledged a ranked PvP system is 'something we want to add eventually.' This puts it above pure wishlist territory — it's been acknowledged. However, no implementation timeline has been given and it has not appeared in any update since. The current bounty system is seen as a placeholder. A proper leaderboard would likely come alongside significant PvP balance changes.
⚙️ How to Prepare for the Next Update
Stock Up on Fragments
If the next update brings a new fruit or reworks (like Dark), its awakening will require fragments. Use this pre-update window to farm fragments via raids. Check our Awakening Cost Calculator to plan exactly how many you'll need.
Respec Your Stats Now
Every update shifts the PvP meta. If new fruits drop or reworks happen, your current build may become suboptimal. Get a free stat reset now using the KITT_RESET code and use our Stat Planner to build the ideal template.
Monitor Dark Fruit Value
If the Dark Fruit rework is confirmed, its trading value will spike immediately after the announcement. If you can acquire Dark cheaply now and the rework lands, you stand to profit significantly. Check current values with our Trade Value tool.
Complete Third Sea Content
If the 4th Sea drops, you'll want to be at Level 3,000 and have all Third Sea quests complete before it launches. Use our Leveling Guide and Mastery XP Calculator to speed-run your remaining progress.
