Blox Fruits Sea Events Guide
Master the ocean in July 2026. Complete guide to Third Sea hazard levels, spawning the Leviathan, defeating Terror Sharks, farming Sea Beasts, and surviving Ship Raids.
Quick Navigation:
π Introduction to Sea Events
In Blox Fruits, the open seas are no longer just empty travel spaces. The Third Sea update introduced dynamic **Sea Events** and the **Danger Level** mechanic. As you sail further away from Tiki Outpost, the ocean becomes darker, more hazardous, and spawns extremely powerful bosses that yield rare crafting materials.
Sailing to these hazard zones requires planning, team coordination, and specific character builds. Whether you are trying to craft the mythic **Beast Hunter Boat**, unlock the **Leviathan Shield**, or pull the **Leviathan Heart** to unlock the S-tier fighting styles, this guide covers everything you need to survive.
πΊοΈ Hazard Level Zones (Third Sea)
When sailing north-east from Tiki Outpost, a compass appears on your screen showing your current Danger Level. Higher Danger Levels increase the spawn rate and difficulty of all sea events, but are required for the rarest spawns.
| Zone / Danger Level | Hazard Rating | Possible Spawns & Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Danger Level 1 | Safe | Regular Sea Beasts, basic pirate boats |
| Danger Level 2 | Low Danger | Sea Beasts, Terror Sharks (Low Spawn Rate), basic Ship Raids |
| Danger Level 3 | Medium Danger | Terror Sharks, Ship Raids (multiple boats), Ghost Ships |
| Danger Level 4 | High Danger | Piranhas, multiple Terror Sharks, Electric Storms |
| Danger Level 5 | Extreme Danger | Piranhas, Terror Sharks, Ghost Ships, lightning strikes, visual distortion |
| Danger Level 6 | The Void / Frozen Zone | Leviathan gates, continuous environmental damage, all top-tier sea events |
π Spawning the Leviathan β step-by-step
The **Leviathan** is the ultimate raid boss of the sea. Defeating it drops Leviathan Scales, and pulling its Heart back to land using the Beast Hunter Boat allows players to craft top-tier gear and unlock race upgrades.
Find the **Spy** NPC located at Tiki Outpost inside the main castle structure. You must pay 6,000 Fragments to bribe the Spy. Keep paying until the Spy says: "The Leviathan is out there... Go find it."
You need at least 5 players in the same boat (some players report success with 4, but 5 is the safe standard). One player must own the **Beast Hunter Boat** if you want to capture the Leviathan's Heart.
Sail directly past Tiki Outpost into Danger Level 6 (The Void). The sky will turn black, visibility will drop to near zero, and your ship will take slow passive damage. Search for a large glacial structure spawning in this zone.
The Leviathan spawns segments (tail, body, head). Destroy all body segments first using high damage weapons (CDK, Soul Guitar) or Awakened Magma/Buddha. Avoid the head's massive freeze attack.
π¦ Terror Shark Hunting
The **Terror Shark** is a massive mini-boss that spawns randomly in Danger Levels 2 to 6. It is highly aggressive, moves rapidly through water, and can easily capsize standard boats.
π¦ Drops & Materials
- β’ Mutant Teeth: Common drop, used for anchor crafting.
- β’ Terror Eyes: Rare drop, required for high-end gear.
- β’ Shark Anchor: Legendary weapon. Only drops if you have the **Monster Magnet** equipped.
βοΈ Combat Tactics
Stand on top of your boat or use ice platforms to stay out of the water. Use **Awakened Magma**'s passive pool damage or **Buddha**'s extended M1 attacks. Watch out for its charge attack which deals massive damage to ships.
π Sea Beast Farming (Beli & Fragments)
Sea Beasts are the classic sea event. They spawn in all seas, but Third Sea versions have higher HP and drop up to 250 Fragments and 100,000+ Beli.
π’ Ship Raids & Ghost Ships
Ship Raids spawn hostile pirate boats that fire cannonballs at your ship. In higher Danger Levels, **Ghost Ships** can spawn, which deal heavy fire damage.
- β’ Destroying the main pirate ship yields up to 100 Fragments and random materials.
- β’ Use long-range projectile weapons like **Soul Guitar** or **Acidum Rifle** to sink them from afar.
- β’ Do not let the pirate boats ram you, as they deal instant collision damage to your ship.
β‘ Best Builds for Sea Events
The absolute best fruit for solo sea events. Every attack leaves a boiling pool of magma on the water, dealing continuous damage to Sea Beasts and Terror Sharks.
Excellent for crews. The massive range allows you to hit Sea Beasts from the safety of the boat deck. Reduces incoming damage by 40%.
The best weapon for Ship Raids. The Z-move fires a giant musical note that pierces multiple ships, dealing high AoE damage and healing your character.
